Transport Damage - what next?

If there is damage to your goods in transit, it is essential to initiate the following steps to ensure an easy and fast handling: 

  •  Leave the goods and packaging unchanged in their original condition. Do not use the goods! 
  •  Take pictures of the packaging and the device. 
  •  Please contact the transport company responsible and report the damage.
  •  UPS: Report the transport damage immediately to UPS at the toll-free number +49 800 877 88 77. You must report the transport damage within 6 days, otherwise the insurance coverage by UPS expires.
  •  Please make sure that the damage is countersigned by the deliverer on the consignment note and also make a note of the official registration number of the delivery vehicle and the name of the driver.
  •  As far as possible, please document the damage (in writing and by photo). If you send the goods to us without an expert opinion by the carrier, your claim for damages against him will expire. The goods would then be repaired at your own expense!
